Promoting education alternatives in Florida and everywhere in the U.S.
A private school headquartered in Texas will be expanding to
Florida, specifically to the cities of Orlando and Kissimmee.
Such was
the announcement from Johnny Cordero, president and founder of My Dreams
Academy, who was recently invited by the organization Misión Boricua to present
this project to the community in the luxurious facilities of Centro Borinqueño
Acacia, in east Orlando.
Cordero mentioned
that he is coordinating with various agencies to partner in offering the
services of this private school, which offers virtual and in-house courses. The
school has the capacity of offering 85 diplomas in various technical fields.
"We
are ready to enroll students, we have programs for students grades 6 through 12.
We utilize alternative education to assist students who cannot work well in a
traditional school setting.” “We further have a program to assist adults in obtaining
a GED alternative diploma, in the form of an accelerated high school diploma.” “A
good education is the path to a better future.” Cordero stated. My Dreams
Academy works with universities, career schools and the armed forces for
placement and employment.
